Two of our partners are long standing members of the Law Society's Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel. We have four members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners who deal with work before the Court of Protection and in Office of the Public Guardian. Our member of ACTAPS (the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists) handles cases involving challenges to the validity of lifetime transactions and wills on the grounds of lack of capacity, duress and undue influence.
In nearly all cases work before the Mental Health Review Tribunal is covered under simple and non means-tested public funding (Legal Aid) at no cost to the client. Other work is funded by a variety of methods which we would be pleased to discuss with you.
