New Medical Negligence Partner Appointed

The firm is delighted to announce the recent appointment of a new Partner to their Medical Negligence department.

Louise Bush, who qualified as a Solicitor in 1998, has worked exclusively assisting injured persons with claims since that time.  Although Louise trained in Manchester, she relocated to Lincolnshire in 2002, initially joining the Personal Injury department of another Lincoln firm.  In 2009, she moved to specialise in Medical Negligence work, and joins us from Bridge McFarland where she was a Partner and Head of their Medical Negligence team in Lincoln.

Stephen Wilson, Head of Sills & Betteridge Personal Injury & Medical Negligence Department said ‘Louise is a very welcome addition to the team bringing both the technical expertise and empathy required to deal with clients who have experienced negligence at the hands of a medical professional.’

Louise has considerable experience in dealing with all aspects of Medical Negligence and can advise on a wide variety of medical issues for adults and children including birth injury and cerebral palsy, brain and spinal injury, gynaecology, misdiagnosis and late diagnosis,  cosmetic surgery, orthopaedics and surgical errors as well as negligence by GPs, Dentists and Opticians. Louise also has experience of liaising with the Coroners office and assisting with Inquest representation.  Louise has been a Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers since 1997.

Whilst Louise will be based principally at our Aquis House offices on Clasketgate, Lincoln she will also work with the Medical Negligence teams at our other offices across Lincolnshire and Nottingham.
