As part of this series, Doddington Hall will be welcoming international pianist and Wigmore Hall regular, Melvyn Tan, to the venue for a very special evening of Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt on Sunday 27th May 2018.
Doddington Hall are inviting attendees to explore the romantic gardens and famous Iris display, have a glass of prosecco on the private terrace and then listen to wonderful classical music in the beauty of the Long Gallery.
About Melvyn Tan
Exploration, insight and imagination are vital ingredients in Melvyn Tan’s blend of artistic attributes. He established his international reputation in the 1980s with pioneering performances on the fortepiano and continues to cast fresh light on music conceived for the piano’s early and modern forms. Booking for the event is essential
Tickets are £24 (£12 for accompanied under 16s) or £26 for premium reserved seats (£13 for under 16s). Reserved seating means a reserved seat in the first 3 rows.
Price includes the concert, access to the Hall and Gardens and a glass of prosecco on the private terrace.
Tickets include access to Hall and Gardens during the day. Access to the gardens is from 11am, and access to the Hall is from 12 noon.
The concert starts at 5.30pm, and will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, ending at 7pm.
