Rory Johnson – Commercial Litigation Department

Rory is currently completing his second seat as a Trainee Solicitor in the Family Department at our Lincoln office. Rory was raised in Lincolnshire, and attended Queen Elizabeth High School, Gainsborough, for both secondary school and sixth form. Rory graduated from the University of Hull in 2014, before moving to Sheffield to work in a national law firm for two years.

Rory then began his Legal Practice Course at the University of Sheffield, while continuing to work part time. He finished his LPC in the summer of 2017, achieving a Distinction. In September 2017, Rory moved back to Lincoln to begin his Training Contract with Sills & Betteridge.

Rory has previously worked in the Commercial Litigation Department, where he specialized in civil litigation, with a particular focus on debt recovery and contentious probate matters.
