The Recruitment Process

Each year Sills & Betteridge recruits two trainee solicitors. We are looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals to join our team.

We normally invite applicants to a formal interview with the Training Partner and HR. Successful candidates would then be invited to a four day placement during the Easter Break.

During the placement individual applicants will spend half a day in different departments working on case studies. On the last day applicants will be invited to meet some of our partners at a lunch meeting. Following the lunch applicants will be able to feedback their experiences and have a discussion with HR and the Training Partner about the placement.

Following the assessment week all applicants will hear back from us as to whether or not their application has been successful and receive feedback from their assessments.
