[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In the recently published edition of Legal 500, leading law firm Sills & Betteridge LLP were RECOMMENDED in two of its practice areas for the East Midlands region - Corporate & Commercial Law and Family Law. The guide, which assesses a limited number of the firm's services is completely independent, highlights firms and individuals based purely on merit focusing on the strength and depth of the teams.
Eight lawyers were recommended - four from each of the two recognised departments. Andrew Payne, Gary Phillips, Martin Walsh and Ed Capes from the Corporate and Commercial department and John Mitchell, Helen Derry, Mo Hayes and Chrystal Theofanous for family law.

We also have a strong mediation service. Most of our solicitors are also members of specialist panels."

The guide refers to the firm's 'excellent' service and 'quick response times'. Clients include private equity investors, national and regional businesses, and family companies. Highlights include assisting a UK-based company with its sale to a US-based private equity buyer; handling a management buyout for the selling shareholders; and managing the restructuring of multiple family businesses.
Sills & Betteridge LLP's family team are recognised for 'fighting fiercely for its clients and striving for good results'. The team comprises ‘no-nonsense, pragmatic professionals, who 'exude confidence' in family matters.
The firm offers a wide range of personal and commercial legal services and has grown both in terms of turnover and geographical spread in the last five years. It now employs nearly 300 people across its nine offices in Lincolnshire and Nottingham.
