Civil Partnerships

Civil Partnerships Solicitors

The law dealing with civil partnerships, is relatively new and as such is changing with every new Court decision. In 2019 civil partnerships were extended to heterosexual couples.

Those in a civil partnership benefit from similar rights as married couples, and upon dissolution similar entitlements apply to those getting divorced.
Whether you need advice about children, financial provision, property, tax benefits, pensions and inheritance, forming or dissolving* a civil partnership, we have a team of experienced family lawyers with the up-to-date expertise to advise you.

*Before you can apply to the Court for dissolution, you must have been in the civil partnership for a year.
