Katy is a Solicitor in our Sheffield Residential Property team.
She qualified in 2001 and is an accomplished conveyancing solicitor who practices exclusively in this area of law.
She has a wealth of experience having previously worked in private practice and High Street firms on behalf of consumers and limited company Country Estate owners. Her previous role as Head of Conveyancing was in Harrogate in North Yorkshire working for a smaller practice where she developed and expanded the residential conveyancing department and achieved CQS status in 2023. She has worked for high profile clients, contributing to team projects in an efficient and timely manner and partners equally well with first time buyers, gaining satisfaction in guiding clients through the transactional process.
Katy deals with the majority of conveyancing transactions including sales and purchases of both leasehold and freehold transactions, transfers of equity and re-mortgages. She also has experience in drafting s106 Unilateral Agreements for homeowners wishing to go down the self-build route.
She is a well-motivated and driven individual who enjoys a challenge and recently attained her MSc whilst working.
In her spare time she is a member of U3A and enjoys social and Arts events including travel to Asia.
