South Yorkshire Merger for Lincolnshire Law Firm

Sills & Betteridge LLP are delighted to announce further expansion activity following its recent merger with established South Yorkshire practice Bridge Sanderson Munro.

The newly merged team will trade as Sills & Betteridge incorporating Bridge Sanderson Munro and will provide a full range of personal and commercial legal services from the existing Bridge Sanderson Munro premises at Hallgate, Doncaster, Bawtry, Thorne and Wath upon Dearne.

Jonathan Goodwin, Principal Solicitor at Bridge Sanderson Munro will join the firm as a Partner in the Wills, Trusts & Probate department. “We have been serving clients in South Yorkshire for over 80 years and we are really excited to be joining forces with Sills & Betteridge, to enable us to offer an even greater range of services across all our offices to existing and new clients for many years to come. All ongoing matters will continue to be handled by the same lawyers and support staff to ensure continuity for all our existing clients”.

Martyn Hall, CEO Sills & Betteridge said “We opened a specialist family law practice in Doncaster 12 months ago with plans to offer, in time, a full range of services across South Yorkshire. We quite quickly recognised that our expansion ambitions would be best achieved by joining forces with another firm in the area. Bridge Sanderson Munro have a strong local presence and share a similar commitment to delivering a service which combines the highest standards of technical expertise and client care, and we are delighted with the collaboration”.

The firm acquired Gainsborough’s TrentSide Legal in September and now has 14 offices across Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and the East Midlands, with 300 partners and employees.
