
Mimi specialises in representing survivors of domestic abuse in various aspects of family law, including obtaining emergency protective injunctions, child arrangements disputes, and other areas of private law.
Mimi is passionate about assisting victims of domestic abuse in obtaining protection in respect of themselves and their children. She works closely with a number of domestic abuse charities, in order to ensure adequate support, safety and legal advice is provided to survivors as quickly as possible. Mimi specialises in obtaining non molestation orders and occupation orders on behalf of survivors, as well as representing parents in respect of child arrangements disputes, and various other aspects of private law.
Mimi works predominately with legal aid clients and has extensive experience applying for and securing public funding for proceedings under the Family Law Act and the Children Act.
Mimi joined Sills & Betteridge in 2021 after graduating in law from Brunel University London.
