Sophie is a Trainee Solicitor in our Wills, Trusts and Probate team.
Sophie is currently completing her first seat with the firm, where she is gaining experience across a range of private client matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate.
Prior to joining the firm, Sophie gained valuable experience within the Medical Negligence department of a large Legal 500 firm. She also worked within the Special Case team in the Collections and Recoveries department of a large motor finance provider, handling complex customer matters and supporting the resolution of sensitive cases within a highly regulated FCA environment.
Sophie graduated from the University of Lincoln with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) before completing her Master of Laws and Legal Practice (LLM LPC) at BPP University.
In 2022, Sophie was a National Finalist in the CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution) National Student Negotiation Competition. During her time at the University of Lincoln, she was Negotiation Officer for the Student Law Society, where she organised and hosted the University's internal student negotiation competition. She also coached the University team which progressed to the National Final of the CEDR National Student Negotiation Competition, promoting the development of negotiation and advocacy skills amongst law students.
