We have strengthened our Wills, Trusts & Probate team this week with the appointment of well-known local solicitor Anna O’Mara who we welcome to the firm as a partner. Madi Earl also joins the firm as Anna’s legal assistant.
Anna, who has worked as a solicitor in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire since qualifying in 2008 will be based in our Scunthorpe and Thorne offices. She advises on future planning matters including wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney and also assists executors and family members with probate and estate administration.
She is accredited by Solicitors for the Elderly, is a Dementia Friend with the Alzheimer’s Society and is also a member of the Dying Matters group in Scunthorpe.
Andrew Durkan, head of the department said “I am delighted that Anna and Madi have joined our existing teams in Scunthorpe and Thorne. They come to us with a reputation for excellent client service in their fields of expertise and their appointment demonstrates the firm’s ongoing commitment to providing a full range of legal services to clients in this part of our region. I have no doubt that their skills and expertise will perfectly complement the existing legal advice provided in those offices and enable us to offer unrivalled service to clients.”
“I have admired the progressive and professional reputation of Sills and Betteridge for a number of years. I am delighted to have the opportunity to join the Wills, Trusts & Probate team along with my colleague, Madi Earl. I am looking forward to welcoming clients to the firm and offering them a first-class service” explained Anna, on her move.
We expanded into North Lincolnshire in 2010 with the opening of our offices in Gainsborough and our subsequent launch in Scunthorpe in 2014. Four years later we opened a small family law practice in Doncaster and realising the potential in the area, acquired offices in Doncaster, Thorne, Wath Upon Dearne and Bawtry through our merger with Bridge Sanderson Munro Solicitors.
