I have received a complaint from a customer what should I do?

You should check the conditions of your licence and the policy of the local authority who issued your licence to see whether you are required to make them aware of the complaint.

A customer has reported me to the police what should I do?

The police may wish to speak with you in relation to the complaint. We are available to advise you at the Police Station. Having us with you at the Police Station is usually free of charge. Please contact us immediately with as much detail as possible.

How can I protect myself against unfair complaints?

A common way to protect yourself against an unfair complaint is to install CCTV which records audio and visual. You must make sure that it is clear to your customer that they are being video recorded.
