Emily Bailey Jay

Emily is a Trainee Solicitor currently in our Wills, Trusts and Probate department at the Nottingham office.

Emily attended the University of Lincoln where she obtained a BA (Hons) in Politics. After graduating, she went to work for her local MP and following that, the third sector before deciding to return to university to study the Law. Emily completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Trent University.

Emily has transferred her training contract from a criminal defence firm where she was a fully accredited police station representative. She also spent eight years as a Local Government Councillor and has a keen interest in supporting her local community and upholding social justice.

Emily will move to our Family department at the end of her current seat and hopes to specialise in Care work.
