We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Costs Lawyer or Costs Draftsman to join our team. This part-time position offers flexibility in location and working arrangements, making it ideal for those seeking a balance between professional and personal commitments.
You will play a key role in managing costs-related matters within clinical negligence and personal injury cases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting bills of costs and budgets
- Providing technical advice and supervision
- Reviewing files to ensure accurate time recording
- Assisting with billing and administrative tasks
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other professionals to ensure effective cost management
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and procedural rules
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent time management, organisational, and IT skills
