ROLE: Maintenance Operative
LOCATION: Lincolnshire, East Midlands and Yorkshire
SALARY: £29,000 - £31,000 dependant on experience
HOURS: 9am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Operative to support the smooth running of our offices across Lincolnshire, the East Midlands and Yorkshire. This is a varied, hands‑on role focused on ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional and well maintained.
Working closely with the Facilities & Project Manager and Facilities Coordinator, you will carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair and improvement tasks with a strong focus on professionalism, flexibility and health and safety.
You will undertake the following but not limited to:
- Routine maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, joinery, painting, gardening and general upkeep
- Installation, repair and replacement of fixtures, fittings, furniture and equipment
- Regular inspections, reporting issues promptly and supporting office moves
- Compliance with health and safety, COSHH and safeguarding requirements
- Safe driving of company vehicles and basic vehicle checks
- Secure shredding and disposal of confidential documents
- Flexible support to the Facilities team, including occasional evening or weekend work
You will enjoy this role if you are:
- Experienced in a maintenance or facilities role with multi‑disciplinary skills
- Confident using hand and power tools
- A strong communicator with good problem‑solving and time‑management skills
It would be desirable to have a time‑served apprenticeship or relevant trade qualification and/or experience in a multi‑site or professional services environment
