ROLE:  Part-time Legal Assistant (Fixed Term Contract)

LOCATION: Sleaford

SALARY: Competitive based on Experience

HOURS: 9am – 5.15pm Monday to Wednesday

We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our Commercial Property team. This role provides high‑quality legal and secretarial support to fee earners, helping to ensure the smooth management of client matters and the delivery of a professional and efficient service. You will work closely with colleagues and external parties, supporting commercial property transactions from instruction through to post‑completion.

You will undertake the following but not limited to:

  • Assisting with the day‑to‑day management and organisation of commercial property files
  • Producing correspondence and legal documents using dictation, case management and document production systems
  • Liaising with clients and external parties including solicitors, lenders and estate agents
  • Requesting searches and obtaining official copy documents via the Land Registry
  • Preparing completion statements, schedules of deeds and post‑completion documentation including SDLT submissions and registrations
  • Supporting reports on title, leases, contracts and searches
  • Maintaining confidentiality and working in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirements

You will enjoy this role if you are:

  • Experienced in commercial property work with a good understanding of post‑completion processes
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using IT systems and legal case management software
  • Professional, reliable and able to prioritise a busy workload
  • Committed to delivering excellent client service and working collaboratively within a team
